Liar
I think the title and picture describes well what the book is going to be about. The title gave everyone the assumption that Micah was a liar. The picture is perfect for the title because she looks as if she is hiding something or guilty. So just from reading the title and seeing the picture you get that she is a liar. Micah lies about anything and everything. Even if it's something that there is no need to lie about, Micah lies anyway. When reading Liar, it does get aggravating because I have no clue if shes lieing or actually telling the truth. But, for the most part it's usually all lies. I also feel that she lies for attention so people will notice her. I wonder if she knows what happened to Zach, or if she is keeping something a secret. I think that Micah is starting to like TayShawn because she thinks he is good looking, and also he invited her to a party after Zach's funeral. TayShawn, Micah and Sarah went to the tunnel where TayShawn and Zach used to go. Micah spilled a little about her and Zach and some other information that she never told anyone else. I think that most of the things she told were the truth just because she hasn't told anyone else but she never tells the truth, if so it is very rare. She says she lies because it is a habit.

School Reading
In general, I never liked reading. Teachers would always assign homework to read a certain book, or read pages one through fifty. Most books that teachers assign to read as a class are boring. The only book I actually did like reading in high school was Tuesdays with Morrie. This book was such a good book, and I really enjoyed reading it. In my other classes, we were assigned to read other books, and I thought they were all boring and after the first chapter I never picked it up again. In college, my reading class last semester we were assigned to read a book and write entrys about the chapter. The book I chose was my Sister's Keeper. My Sister's Keeper was also a very good book. Out of the last few years, I have only read a few books because I read only if I have to. To me, I just think reading is very boring and it does not interest me. If i am told to read a book that does not look interesting I won't read it, I'll just skim through pages. Right now, I'm in a study skills class and we have to pick a book, read for fifteen minutes and write for five minutes. I'm reading Liar and it's kind of a slower pace so I can comprehend what I'm reading. Also, it helps me keep up on this class as well. I'm not sure if I like Liar or not yet. I feel pressure because I know I have to read a certain amount of pages within a few days.

Dear John
I read the book Dear John by Nicholas Sparks. I think the title of the book relates to a love story, or relationship book. The picture on the front cover looks like two people John and Savannah are in love, sitting on the beach. It is about the two falling in love in just two weeks. Their both sitting on the beach because everyday John and Savannah would go to the beach. They would either surf, or just lay their at watch the sunset go down. In Those two weeks were the best days of each others life, the only thing that the both of them didn't want to happen was John going back to Germany. After a few days going by Savannah knew it was going to be hard to not see John everyday. She didn't think it was so hard to say good bye to someone. John, wishes he wasn't in the army because he would rather be living each and every day with Savannah.
John in highschool was the type of boy who did not care about anything besides partying and going out with friends. The group of boys he hung out with were the exact same way that is why John is this way. He barely passed highschool with low grades. I would consider John laid back. Once John went into the army, everything changed. He wasn't the boy he used to be in highschool. He respected everyone around him and made himself a better person.
Savannah is the type of girl who is always working hard for what she wants. She is very open, and outgoing. In highschool, she was the valedictorian. Savannah went off to college to figure out what she wanted to be in the future. She wanted to teach the disabled kids to relate to horses. Savannah is worthy of critism, if she is told something she will respect what is being said and try something new.
Two weeks, that's all it took for me to fall in love with you. This sentence is my favorite sentence because it sums up alot of the book. John never thought he would meet a girl and fall in love within the two weeks he was with her. He instantly knew that Savannah was the girl of his dreams. She was the one who he wanted to marry, spend the rest of his life with. He wanted to come home to Savannah at the end of every day. Savannah was the exact same way. She said he made her the happiest girl and everyday with him felt just right. John was important to her, and she wanted him to know that. The only thing Savannah didn't like was John leaving for the Army. It was the worse part for her. They wrote letters, talked on the phone for hours. But, it wasn't the same as seeing eachother in person. She cried everyday hoping he would come back one day. Savannah could barely do anything without thinking about John. I feel that sentence made the whole book feel like it was true love.
